With over 30 years of electrical experience, Sean is responsible for the company’s overall operations. Sean’s knowledge and leadership at New Era have focused on developing and delivering renewable services and solutions, providing outstanding client service, and driving growth.
Sean has helped lead New Era Electric to become one of the nation’s largest renewable electrical contractors, ranking as Solar Power Worlds 2022 #15 Top Solar Installers in California.
Mike Sharble brings over 25 years of experience in all facets of electrical contracting.
Mike believes in providing leadership by example with clear communications, direction, strategy, and procedures, leading to increased efficiency, high morale, and long-term employee retention.
Over the years, Mike has developed a reputation as a leader and problem solver, which helped cultivate business relationships within our industry and business development relationships with some of the industry’s best General Contractors and end users.
David Jordan has seven years in the Energy Efficiency industry, focusing on solar, lighting, and controls.
David has successfully developed and produced over 50 solar installations throughout California, totaling over 15MW of carport, ground-mount, and rooftop solar arrays creating millions of dollars in electricity savings.
David has held several positions in the industry, allowing him to take a project from inception to completion.

Robert is a highly qualified manager who ensures our customers’ projects are successfully managed through design and construction. Samantha Comafay has been in the electrical construction industry for over 10 years.
Samantha started in the electrical construction industry right out of college as an administrative assistant and has worked up to a project manager role. Throughout her journey, she has learned the ins and outs of various company roles, and this knowledge helps shape how she manages her projects. Her industry knowledge is also used to train up-and-coming assistant project managers and administrative staff.
Samantha is passionate about a more sustainable future and wants to see more renewable energy used across the state and country. She enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with her family in her free time.
Josh Busam is committed to providing our clients with projects successfully managed through design and construction.
With over 20 years of electrical career history and having worked as an operations manager at a large electrical contractor, Josh knows how to lead teams and get projects to the finish line. Josh’s keys to successful project management are listening to our client’s needs and anticipating project challenges.
During Josh’s career, some of his favorite projects include Camp Pendleton Bachelor Enlistment Quarters, Balboa Park Mingei Museum, and Portside Pier.
Josh is married with two children. When not working at New Era, he spends his days helping his wife at The Urban Toddler Preschool. You can also find Josh spending time with his family in Baja, California, or on the BMX track.
Tim Coleman has been in the electrical industry since 1999.
Tim brings a versatile and recognized history of electrical expertise to the New Era Electric team. With over two decades of electrical career history, Tim has extensive electrical estimating and engineering experience. During Tim’s estimating career, some of his favorite projects include Los Angeles International Airport, California Science Center, Disney Land, the Port of Los Angeles, and Northrop Grumman.
When Tim isn’t working, Tim enjoys working out and going for a run. You can find Tim spending time with his wife, daughter, and their Goldendoodle, hopefully traveling, camping, or on an epic hike.
James graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
As EPC Manager, James utilizes his tested history of estimating experience, combined with his expert knowledge of EPC project management, to provide our partners with incredible project support. His favorite part about working at New Era Electric is being part of a close-knit, dedicated team and the widespread focus on family throughout the company. James is dedicated to every detail, specification, and goal for each project he takes on. He thrives in seeing projects develop from their very inception into successful and effective long-term solutions.
When James is not working, you can find him spiking volleyballs on the beach in Carlsbad and shredding down the mountains on his snowboard.
Chris brings over 19 years of experience in the electrical industry to New Era Electric.
Chris Gonzalez started as an electrician in the field; he quickly moved into the office environment and started managing and estimating projects. After several years as a project manager, he refocused on estimating and pre-construction. This includes estimating and design-build projects across various industries in the Southern California market. Chris utilizes that knowledge to fuse New Era Electric estimating processes with operation-driven solutions to create a seamless transition and produce high-quality projects for our clients.
When he’s not busy with pre-construction, you will find Chris in his woodshop or growing tomatoes and peppers in the garden. You can also catch him at any of our beautiful So Cal beaches with his daughter catching rays or lounging in our beautiful California weather.
Taylor O'Sullivan started in Renewable Energy in the residential sector over 7 years ago, carrying his expertise into the commercial sphere.
Jeff has over 30 years of electrical experience.
Jeff’s electrical experience spans the industry, including military work, hospitals, schools, commercial, industrial, and photovoltaics. Jeff also has over seven years of experience as the safety officer in the above fields. He also holds his California state journeyman card, EM 385, OSHA 30, confined space, fall protection and rescue, excavation, NFPA 70 E arc flash, first aid, boom lift, rigging, & reach and forklift certifications Jeff enjoys spending time with this family, snow skiing, hunting, and fishing and backpacking
