Project Details: New Era Electric provided electrical installation for the Viejas Resort & Casino 15 MW solar carport installation. Located in San Diego County, this solar carport is the largest known carport in the nation.

This project was driven by the increasing number of Public Safety Power Shutoffs and blackouts affecting the region. In October 2022, the Viejas Tribe of Kumeyaay Indians commissioned this record-breaking solar solution to provide a 24/7 supply of renewable energy for the Viejas Casino & Resort.
